Jessica Kinney  

Jessica completed her music studies at Royal Holloway where she held a choral scholarship with the university’s renowned chapel choir. Now enjoying a career as a freelance soprano, she is in demand as both soloist and consort member. 

Professional roles have included the posts of VOCES8 Scholar and Lay Clerk for the Choir of Clare College, and Choral Scholar at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Jessica also completed two years with the Choir of Trinity College under the direction of Stephen Layton, and currently sings with St John’s Voices at St John's College, Cambridge.

Recent solo appearances include Bach's Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen with the Cambridge Baroque Camerata, Bach's B Minor Mass for New Cambridge Singers, Vaughan-Williams’ Serenade to Music Fauré's Requiem for the Choir of Clare College, Handel’s Messiah for St Martin's Voices and St John’s Voices, and Bach’s St John Passion for Cambridge University Chamber Choir.
